We assess the accounting knowledge of our applicants, explore their past experiences, and discuss their goals, motivations, and aspirations. Any candidates who are shortlisted will be required to take a 16-personality test.

I started Beyond the Ledgers after nearly ten years working inside New Zealand accounting firms. I loved the work. I loved the people. And I saw the challenges — long hours, staff shortages, and the pressure to do more with less. I also saw how much potential could be unlocked with the right kind of support.

As someone born and raised in the Philippines, I knew there was a pool of talented, driven professionals back home — people ready to contribute, grow, and build meaningful careers.
I created this company to connect those two worlds: to help firm owners grow sustainably, and to create opportunities for Filipino accountants to thrive in roles where they’re valued and supported.
